Port Zayed is the name for the commercial deepwater port used in the city of Abu Dhabi. It gains its name from one of the country’s former Presidents, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The port has played a key role in the development of the United Arab Emirates as it has increased oil ship access.
