Nhava Sheva
The Port of Nhava Sheva is sometimes also known as Jawaharlal Nehru Port. Being India’s largest port, it handles almost half of the country’s maritime traffic. It is authorised by the Government of India and is situated directly across the Thane Creek from Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay).
